Not entirely convinced by Eve at the moment I can't lie...

She runs away from the neighbours house without answering the call that is assumedly her girlfriend calling back after the line cut out because she had a bad feeling at one of the doors having mysteriously opened a crack but then follows a mysterious figure that disappears into the woods immediately after instead of going home and checking on the family?

No amount of people pleasing tendencies would have me let a random family of 5 claiming to want a tour of the dad's old house in. I'd be more likely to not even open the door.
