The author trying to reinforce to us that Eli is dead despite not having solid proof is a dead giveaway that Eli is evil
(small chance hes an epic secret hero, but I feel like theyre pushing for the WOW HES ACTUALLY EVIL plotline)
I knew Eli would be important early on (though I hope it's cause hes going to get his own book)

Honestly this is just super traumatising for Lucy
I'll be fr i think its a bit extreme given the secret society and the whole oh we think Asher's ancestor is a vampire plot
like lowkey did not need all this extreme stuff
it lowkey feels like its just to grab attention and add shock value more than anything else

this aint a fantasy book

they think ashers family are vampires
