“The Turbulence Expert” 2/5- It was ok. I wanted more out of this story. Not much really going on

“Two Talented Bastids” King uses this story to show how important art can be even if its creator never reaches fame. He uses an unreliable narrator to shape a view that every man and woman longs to be chosen for their art and very few ever are. He addresses luck and talent and hard work. At the center of all of that it focuses on being a good person and that there is no shame in wanting what you may never have.

“Laurie” 5/5- Stephen King is a character author. He just does it so well. I feel like I give everything I read five stars but this story had everything I loved and nothing I didn’t. It’s a great little love letter to dogs.
