Seldom read a book that is this painful and depressing. I considered giving up a bunch of times already, not knowing whether I can take it. I suspect that the worst is behind me now, but if I don't force myself to finish it by tomorrow, I'm never touching this series again. Though, if I do manage to force myself to finish it by tomorrow, I'm likely never touching this series again either.
