Y'know that feeling when you're reading something and the plot just isn't really doing anything for you, but you're tired and a little bit lazy and you don't want to uproot yourself into a different series because you're comfortable and that sounds like effort.... yeah well that's why I'm on book 2 and book 3 is in my mail box.
