Status Update

W is 8% done

the footnote took up 80% of 3 pages ???? but no complaints (yet)… susanna clarke has this talent to make the narrators in her books evet so charming

it reminds me of babel (book of the DECADE) so far but a much more long winded version. don’t know how long it’ll take me to finish this… doesn’t seem to be much of a plot so far

also i keep losing track of the names

this is injecting a sense of sleepiness in me… i feel head randomly dropping and drifting in and out of consciousness. the feeling when you’re reading the same sentence over and over unintentionally but you don’t even register that you’re reading anything. idk. but im a third done so i’ll push through and hope it picks up

i’m glad i pushed through the first few more “boring” parts, this story intrigues me so much… and the voice of the book is ever so charming!
