We are introduced to psyche, sister to persephone, at a party for Zeus. Her mom attempts to introduce her to him but psyche has no interest in marrying a man who is meant to be in charge of the entire realm. When she is able to sneak away we find she has insecurities: in her body, personality. Pretty much everything. Which is nice for i think alot of women feel these flaws so it gives her a more humanistic feel.
