At the end of the book, she is the Wicked Witch of the West.

In the movie plot portion of Wizard of Oz. It’s really moving fast now.

Book is so weird.

Finally called herself the “Wicked Witch of the West”.

So far, I can see why the broadway taken a lot of creative liberties on the adaptation. I like the murder/true crime part of the story, it was morbid. I do like how it shows Fiyero and Elphaba’s relationship moments grow. I think the story beats, like core moments,have been consistent across the adaptations.

Elphaba has horrible parents. Her mother is vain and her father is a delusional fanatic. Finished Muckinlanders portion. Really invested.

It’s an interesting start. It shows the characters perspective like the Elphaba’s parents and the wizard of odd characters feelings about Elphaba.
