Gaining more understanding of the main characters, Kaladin and Dalinar.

Kaladin has reemerged with new resilience to see another day; trying to support and lead his bridgemen to live. He’s gaining the support from Rock and Teft.

Dalinar has been seeing visions and is trying to unite the kingdom based on these insights but everyone thinks he’s going crazy.

Trying to preserve through this book and get excited but keep falling asleep after reading one chapter.

Multiple perspectives: K-bridge man/surgeon, D&A-royalty, S-apprenticeship

Is it just me or is the beginning of this book challenging to grasp. Backstory after backstory, multiple viewpoints.

I’m trying to take it all in;understanding that there’s some great world building going on here. But damn this feels like early 2000’s high school wearing a jansport backpack with all my heavy textbooks.
