I'm so invested in this family drama.

The problem of Cathy and Linton's love affair would be solved if marrying your cousin wasn't normalized.

Isabella after marring Heathcliff and finding out he is indeed the abusive asshole everyone said he was and vehemently warned her about: 😲😱

I'm only halfway through. How is Catherine already dead? I thought she was being dramatic.

I like the parallel between Catherine and Isabella. They both are in marriages they hate and envy each other's house - Catherine longs for Wuthering Heights and Isabella longs for the Linton house.

Catherine is a terrible person but so is Heathcliff and if they would've married, I think they would have actually been a solid couple.

I love how this is told from the perspective of a nosy neighbor and his gossipy servant. Nelly is a diva.
