I do appreciate his explanation of his 'early years.' More specifically, his personal development in college. The seminar he set up "moved [him] a long way toward a philosophy of life which was [his] own."

I am frustrated by his extensive, abstract, confusing explanation of therapy from a scientific research lens starting off in section V only for it to be followed by, "I have come to believe that the most basic error [..] was in the description of science. I should like to attempt [...] to correct that error." Why include the "error" in the first place?
