honestly it’s not that bad, it’s probably just a me problem. i would like more context and i hate being in the dark, especially with such a genre i feel like you have to establish the setting at least partially. now i dont even know what’s the purpose for all these examinations so i have a hard time taking this seriously😭

i wonder which novel is crazier. im reading the earth is online and its like...so random u dont know what to expect.

i read the synopsis, seems more interesting than this. i’m on the second exam and i feel like it’s all so far fetched and plot armoured like… the mc is just cool like that :/

i get what u mean bc when i read stuff in this genre, if the stakes aren't proper or high, idgaf about the games, scenarios, blah so, u with the examinations.

i havent read any infinity flow novels before but i feel like its common for the MC to be overpowered for no reason. its the same for the earth is online too.

Man, that's why I have a hard time with infinity novels at times because the world is so confusing and random. A lot of the explanation is not given and you kinda just have to read until it's revealed later. Which, I get it's a method, but common! Give the reader more clues!
I've read Global Examination a couple of years ago, felt a lot was forced and dragged. The way the exams ended was badass af, though!

I think it’s the charm of infinity/unlimited flow novel that you as the reader only learn the rules of the world / game / whatever over time. Admittedly, it can get confusing and exhausting, but so far I liked those I read.

Real unlimited flow - just GUEE. But I found DPUBFTB (quick transmigration) and Panguan with its horror elements and the different scenarios in the cages to be of a similar style. In all three the rules were vague or seemed to change over time. Btw, I loved DPUBFTB the most.

this is my first proper novel of this genre and ig it’s just not for me, tho i like the battle royale aspect. i don’t need a full encyclopedia but throw me a bone here and there! can’t be out here solving puzzles with zero pieces

i get that’s the appeal and when it’s done well it’s great, but for me there’s a fine line—and some of these books really test that line—between slowly revealing the rules and wandering confused for 50 chapters hoping something clicks eventually. usually i’m left with more questions than answers and i don’t like questions…
