If you don’t try to grow through the suffering that God is putting you through, than you will be suffering for nothing. Being Content even in the bad, is not being happy that something bad happened, but instead being happy that God is trying to grow you. You can’t obey God to gain salvation, but when you die young you hand all of the controlling over to Jesus making your obedience the result of your salvation.
