Characterization: Percy Jackson is outgoing with his friends. He shows this by joking around with them. On page 268 it says, "I whistled. 'You have evil thoughts for a goat.' " He is also very good at learning about the Gods. On page 267 it explains, " 'The Silent One?' Annabeth suggested. 'The Rich One? Both of those are nicknames for Hades.' "

Connections: Percy Jackson reminds me of Harry Potter, because in both books, there are three friends going to complete hard tasks together. On page 307 it says, "I was almost relieved to turn my back on that tunnel and head toward the place of Hades." This shows Percy Jackson and his friends about to head to their mission.

Antagonist: My antagonist are the gods. On page 135 it states, " 'Stolen,' Chiron said." It also says, " 'By you.' " They want the master bolt back, and they are accusing Percy of taking it. Now, Percy talked to the Oracle and has to go to the Underworld and talk to the Lord of the Dead. Then, he will have to return the master bolt to Zeus.
