Okay, I'm going to try to read a chapter a day, as per the instructions. The first chapter is simple, introducing our FMC April and her divorced parents, as well as her "required issue" aka she has a donor heart due to having a heart attack at 16. It's a plot I've seen before, so I'm curious if the author will be able to elevate the story, or if it's going to be a rehash.
