Jen Scott I’m interested in whether you like this one because I am on the fence about reading it!

Katie Walkley I liked this one quite a bit! It took a bit of time to get oriented and settled in the structure of it - all written in letters. But once I settled in, the story was charming and heartfelt. The main character is sharp and entertaining, but she also has a satisfying story arc with character growth and layers. Overall, I’m glad I read it! I’d read The Color Purple recently which is also a novel told through letters, and that one was a little difficult for me to get into. But this one clicked more for me, even though there were more characters to keep track of.
