ok yall if goodreads doesn’t bring back the DM feature (and i heard they’re also messing around with status updates??), this might just be my sign to move to fable or storygraph. i love gr but omfg they keep making all the wrong updates and they’re ruining the app.

they still work as of now but i think they added a harsher character limit?? i’ve been hearing things that they might restrict them even more now though 😭
Same - half the reason I'm on here is to make connections with fellow readers... why are they getting rid of the private message function, it makes no sense???If they do this, I'm 100% gone.
same, if they don't change anything i'm going to make a poll to tell my GR friends that i'm moving to fable. i'm gonna lose half of the connections i've made on here and that really saddens me but what's the point if i can't communicate with them
