Before anyone laughs at me, I’m using this to make notes for book club.
Really enjoying it so far. Martha Ballard feels very reliable as a narrator. I’m enjoying the pace of the book - Ariel Lawhon describes everything with the precise amount of detail I need to really picture the scene. Hard to have any theories yet, but looking forward to finding out more.

Sometimes the dialogue feels slightly too modern, which takes away a tiny bit of realism for me. But, I’m still really enjoying it

Lots of characters being introduced that I’m struggling slightly to keep up with, but generally loving the pace of the book. Hope the new Dr gets his blocked knocked clean off, he’s annoying me.
