We are not off to a good start. I even rewound to see if I misheard, but no, there is a glaring inconsistency less than 19 minutes into the book. She says she texted him and he didn't respond, then they run into each other at the dance and he says he didn't think she was interested because she never texted him. She didn't even know she had his number! How could she have texted him before the dance?!
