I found this book triggering and frustrating and I’m not sure if that actually says more about me than anything!! It was exhausting to hear her blame herself and apologize repeatedly without communicating! I guess I don’t understand the level of fear and going back to the abuse. It’s said that those who abuse know which ones to attack but it’s not that simple! It can’t be!! I fear for women today!
