I feel a little lost, like this is one of those books you have to reread to truly understand. But that explains the FMS, interesting. And Helena’s fear and feelings toward Slade are so valid, so scary.

I suspected this twist in the beginning but dismissed it, but this is a bigger twist than I originally thought. I still think Helena’s experiments are what caused all this

I also have a feeling FMS is the failed byproduct of Helena’s work
