im beginning to wonder if this author is okay? one would think there would be some character development at this stage in the book, and i see none. may it die in the next few chapters

she lost her memory. he found her. took her back home. she only remembers all the bad parts of their marriage. hes upset that she is only remembering the bad parts of said marriage. why is he still alive? i’m confused
