Something l love about Kate's books is that her love interests are never described as overly and outrageously attractive like they are in the majority of books these days.

Her men have what Samantha would call "offbeat faces" and I love that? Mildly attractive/regular people who become more and more attractive as the story progresses from the pov of the FMC, which is so refreshing, honestly!
