I’ve been distracted from reading this novel for awhile over Thanksgiving week. It’s been such a joy to get back into it again.

I love the way Kate Ganshert develops the characters, unfolds their lives, and weave them together — slubs, wrinkles, stains and all. She does a phenomenal job of making it “real”.
