I know that fucker is behind this. I’ve suspected him since day one. On the other hand I’m worried Verity is also slightly shady. I literally don’t trust anyone right now. Also the historical romance vibes that their little meetings bring are everything.

Thoughts:

1. Alex is shady af. But I also can’t tell if I don’t like him just because I don’t want a love triangle.

2. I really need Verity to not be a problem.

3. Rune is kind of awesome but we haven’t seen a rescue yet so maybe.

4. Gideon is either broody and tortured or he’s actually as bad as they think he is. Or he finds out and turns her in after they fall in love. Choices choices.
