Is the king also somehow connected to the wyrdmarks? Also Nehemia is 100% magical. Also I still want to know what Chaol was going to say to her before she was sick.

Is Kaltain having headaches because the Duke is inside her mind?? He’s telling her lies he knows she wants to hear. Does he know them because of context clues or is he inside her head??

Cain and the duke wear the same ring, very interesting

Is the Duke possessed or what?? Him and Cain are responsible for the evil and killings in some way for sure but other than for summoning the creature I have no other ideas on what they could be doing. I also think Kaltain will have some sort of scary moment with the Duke and his association with the Wyrd markings

This is really taking a turn I wasn’t expecting. I think some ancient magical creature having to do with the markings is doing the killings and I think Cain is helping to summon it or something along those lines.

She and Chaol have such an interesting relationship it’s hard to tell where it’ll go
