The book started out strong but I quickly found myself annoyed with Nolan’s chapters, especially when I listened on audio. There was too much focus on physical attraction & the romance felt too instant & didn’t have substance, so Nolan’s his inner dialogue is unfortunately giving pervy to me. I love Harriet & can relate to her in ways & the cats are everything but this one overall felt choppy & underdeveloped.
