Hands down the best part about this book: it showcases the bravery and self-love it takes to finally cut your toxic family out of your life, and does so in a way that champions the people forced to make those kinds of decisions, rather than pandering to the harmful “but they’re your family” rhetoric many abuse survivors receive.
