If there's one thing you need to know about me, it's that I LOVE a book about material history. Moorhouse examines how the Nazis expertly manipulated material imagery to create a philosophical chokehold on Germany, and even on the world today. We do not transcend materiality, but are greatly shaped by it and its symbolism. I read Berlin at War a few years ago and am PSYCHED to read something else by him. Big squee!
