Whereas there are some nice points in the writing, one has to find them amongst a sea of absolutists statements and unsubstantiated opinions. Han has a very didactic tone in this book, and seems to be expecting the reader to take his statements at face value.
I would also argue that his criticisms of contemporary society is fairly one-sided and misses some of the complexities of modern realities.
