Massively disappointed. Everything about this book is so superficial. We were in desperate need of a plot in book 1 and I had high hopes that it would manifest in book 2 but I was sorely mistaken.

The world-building has completely collapsed in on itself. The FMC is supposed to go to the Seelie court to 'learn' how to control her powers. But that was utterly pointless because the magic takes no skill or training at all to master. She just had to think "I want a house" for it to appear...what a waste of time. This whole book is so messy.

The Unseelie Duke and the Unseelie wish, Izael and Alex’s story was much better. I preferred their story to this series, I struggled with Abigail’s and Valroy’s story.

I want to love this series so badly but Valroy is just so immature & I really don't care if he gets his HEA.
I know I wanted to love it as well but I just didn’t, I would agree with you about Valroy being immature. Izael is slightly boyish but it’s in a charming way, theirs is a duology but I loved it.
