Ok in 5 pages the N word has been written at least 30 times I’m getting uncomfortable and it’s taking me out of the story

I’ve come to the realization that any book over 1000 pages is actually really unnecessary. So much of this writing is superfluous (not saying it’s bad, it’s just like a lot of bonus content I don’t necessarily think adds anything significant)
