Forced myself to finish it so I could at least say I did. I feel like I just read an alternate universe version like what was this…..

This book is pissing me off. This characterization of Marcus is flooring me, and not in a good way. This is the man who we spend five books and three games getting to know as quiet, guilty, grieving, and who quite frankly, never smiles. To now have him sociable, smiling, and optimistic is so ODD. And that’s not including the fact he just watched his father and brother die only SIX MONTHS AGO.
