really really really loving this.slightly triggering but in a way that makes me feel less alone. i like that it touches on the dangers of parenting like this. even when you aren’t (typically) physically abusive, berating your child for every small thing will lead them exactly to the dangers you try so desperately to protect them from. you strip them of their autonomy. they blame themselves for everything.
