I’m going to make this a a DNF as it’s just too dark for me. Yes it’s well written and I can imagine it would be a brilliant read but I need joyful reads in my
Life right now and I can’t get past the rape scenes at the start of the book.

This book was recommended to me but I don’t know if I’ll continue reading. It’s just too damn depressing right now and I don’t want to read any more sexual assault scenes. It is well written though so maybe I’ll come back and read in small doses.
