Great feat of journalism that Teicholz tracked down and got interviews with all these old guys who created, and who opposed, the diet-heart hypothesis (ie that saturated fat causes heart disease), while they were still alive. Just as storytelling, it's really entertaining to 'see' these 80- and 90-somethings recall, then again take up their swords in the diet wars they themselves began in the post-War era.
