planet of exile - another five star masterpiece, with le guin creating a vivid world with rich characters and a deep cultural. raises a lot of questions about how time and culture influence one another, as well as how we influence one another. you would wonder. heart wrenching at times and all the more beautiful for its simplicity

rocannon’s world - 5 stars, so beautifully written. sci fi really is the closest we can get to pure philosophy. much to be said on the nature of language. j’adore.
