Making Connections: My connection is gonna be with a book and the world. A connection is that in the book there is a kid that bullies a shy kid and that also can happen in a lot of schools around the world. Also in the book the shy kid is a kid that never gives up and sometimes in the real world the shy kid is very creative and hard working. There are a lot of things that are common in my book and in the real world.

Visualize: In this book there are several times that you can visualize. One time is when the book was describing what a person was wearing and how she looked. It described her purple shirt, her two perfect braids, jeans and she also carried a journal. This makes it so that we can picture what she is wearing. This is one of the hundreds that are in this book.

Characterization: The character I am gonna write about. Virgil. Virgil is a shy and misunderstood kid. In the book he does things like never giving up and trying his best. He said things like and keeps on trying if we doesn't get a response. Also he thinks things like it is gonna be ok and that if he tries again and again he would be find. That is the characterization of Virgil.

ANTAGONIST: The antagonist is a Chet Bullens. He is bullying Virgil Salinas. An example of him bullying is by throwing a backpack down a well. This could mean that someone could have bullyed him and that could of caused him to be a bully also. He could have been a good kid at first but changed.
