INCITING INCIDENT:When Kara finds the diary of the died girl and shes the only one who can read it, The girl who owns the diray was drowned in the lake by who Kara thinks was the neighbor of the girl who was drowned in the lake by her house.

VISUALIZATION: I could picture in my mind while reading. The text says, “a 12 year old girl named Elishabth was killed in a river 4 months ago” it was on the news (K.R. Alexander page 6). This helped me (It allowed me to see…, It made me feel…) It made me scared and thinking that Kara was gonna be killed to.

ARCHETYPE: This story can be classified as horror because this story A twelve-year-old girl discovers a mysterious diary of a murdered ghost girl who haunts her visions. One example from the text that supports this is "its you! from my visions...?'(page 10 K.R,. Alexander). This evidence supports my claim because this story is about a died girl who lost her life in a river and then a girl named kara finds her book

ARCHETYPE: The one that I picked out of 7 plots is "OVERCOMING THE MONSTER".

I chose this one because the killer is a person who killed a little girl and that the same person is gonna kill the main character.


So my main character and her bff have to OVERCOMING THE MONSTER that killed the little girl of the main characters visions so then it wouldn't be that hard todo it so, Kara and her friend go to the lit town

CHARACTERIZATION: This character seems to be scared of what is happening in the story. The text says, “He'll do this to you , too” (, K.R. Alexander page 32). This shows (This proves…, This indicates…) This shows that the person who killed elisabeth that will kill kara to beuacuse she has the diary, the person who killed elisabeth was their neighbor(Asher)

The main character is a girl named kara, the story is about a girl who has visions about a dead girl named Elisebeth that was drowned in a lake, the book takes place in a little town, Kara and her only friend went on to a mission and skipped school to go to Kara's little house.
