I feel like there’s too much “Jesus wept” in these books. Everyone says it and thinks it. I’d understand if one character had it as a go-to phrase, but ALL of them?

I disagree with Lamb killing the hypothetical cat. He’d live and let live, probably watch it out of curiosity and cultivate a lot of information from its behavior.
