Killing Liam so that Violet has enough rage to finally control her power is such a cheap shot

Jack was annoying as hell, but he was her only true hater. And the plotline with Dain and the "plot twist" with her father's fable book was so predictable, I saw it coming from a mile away.
So I can't say I didn't enjoy it, because I did for a while.

I did enjoy it up until page 400 or so, mostly because I do love me a bad boy who is only soft for me. But when they all of a sudden go from "he wants to kill me so bad" to love confessions in the blink of an eye, it gave me whiplash and highlighted everything I didn't like about the book, specially how the main character is very overpowered and idolized by everyone even though she is supposed to be
"weak”
