Really interesting how she brings to life the world these people inhabited... less a true crime book and more a social history (using the crime as a vehicle to drive the narrative forward)

Fascinating. Rubenhold has a special skill for bringing to life the ordinary person and making their lives sound extraordinary.

Intrigued already! I loved her previous work, high hopes for this one.
