okay maybe i can’t push through, because no book, NO BOOK, especially by a white author should have this many slurs and racist stereotypes I DO NOT CARE if it’s ’accurate to the time’ it’s disturbing

i am really hating this but it’s the last book on my 25 to read in 2025 so i need to push through
