Today is "tree decorating" day. It's not my favorite day of the year but it's not the worst either. For instance, I like it more than "root canal day", "incessant snow shovelling day", "colonoscopy day", or flat tire day."

You're hidden musical talents are showing!There is a 12 dogs of christmas song from the movie of the same name which is not related to this novel, with the exception that both feature a lovely lady who rescues stray dogs.
The verses from thw 11th & 12th days sum it all up:
