What is this all about ??

The book is about this world where everyone is born into a caste and is brought up in a government run child camps basically and they teach them to believe lies by saying it in their sleep to basically control everything. The citizens don’t even know what families or parents or love or anything like that is because nobody has kids anymore because they think it’s disgusting and that it’s not natural anymore. They are are told from the sleep learning to do all these things and there is no marriages and even the ideas of having a family or not exactly how they were brought up to live is revolting to them. But now the main character Bernard is a phycologist and went to a “savage camp” which is just normal people tbh and is seeing how they are but I haven’t gotten past that point yet
