I have to read the great gatsby for a book club I’m in but like I have so many other books I’d rather read 😭 like I could be reading onyx storm, or if you could see the sun, or throne of glass rn but instead I’m stuck reading a book that was written 100 years ago and is lwk kinda boring (and yes, I’m only 4 pages in)

broooo lowkey it was rlly boring and if my teacher wasn't there to help us I probably wouldn't have known what was going on... but I promise it gets REALLY interesting!!

Classics are good, and I love the great gatsby. If you’re judging a book after 4 pages and on when it was written, you may want to consider opening your mind a bit sorry
