It makes me happy to read a book from fifty years ago that’s so well written in the language of science.

His writing is infectious and so utterly interesting. I don’t even know how to describe it.

This may be the ultimate proof that it’s not what you write, but how you write it. Which is crazy because the content is fascinating too.

This is the kind of poetic comedic mastery of the English language I love to see 😂

Now THIS is how you start a book!! The first chapter is literally one page, front and back. And it is one of the most captivating openings I have ever read. I already am more invested in this character’s life than I was in any character over the course of the whole Court of Thorns and Roses, though admittedly that’s saying almost nothing.
