Well I finished the First Epilogue and according to SImon Haisell, my guide through this year long slow read, means i have officially finished War and Peace!

I will read the second epilogue but feeling very satisfied with this experience. What a book!

The war is over.... the healing begins.

I got behind in the chapter a day but I'm on Book 4, Part 4, Chapter 6... the French are fleeing Russia. So much grief for the dead young men and the horrors of war. I've got a 14 hour flight and hope to catch up to today's assignment and finish the year having completed War and Peace!
