I kind of feel that Alex and his family aren't properly mourning. They still seem pretty lighthearted, all things considered. Also, the repetitive nature is a bit annoying.

I really wish the author would put in the appropriate formatting for scene and POV changes. It's really jarring. Otherwise, it's a good book.
