Okay -- I'm now three quarters of the way through this book and I'm now NOT reading every first sentence then skipping the rest of the paragraph. The tedious and extraneous information seems to be behind me now so the going is much quicker. Actually starting to really like this book. The author may have needed advice on editing from their publisher.
